David Gippel

Director, Structured Finance / Treasury

David is a director of Cromwell Capital Limited and has over 16 years experience in the banking and finance industry including credit analysis, facility structuring and management, compliance and investor management. David has specialised in structuring and managing a wide range of property and commercial transactions in the commercial / corporate property finance divisions of organisations including AGC Ltd, Westpac Banking Corporation, QIDC and Suncorp Metway. David has primary responsibility for the treasury operations of the fund including arranging, structuring and managing interest rate risk strategy and overall management of all loan facilities of the fund.


Michael Blake

National Head of Sales

Michael joined Cromwell in May 2004. Michael is a member of the Cromwell Property Group Executive Management Committee. His chief responsibilities are managing the Cromwell Sales team and managing relationships with national dealer groups, researchers and asset consultants. He started his working career at AAP Reuters economic services, managing dealing rooms for major Australian banks, stockbrokers and corporate treasuries. He joined the funds management industry in 1990 working for the boutique property and mortgage manager Heine, before it was acquired by ING in 1995 where he held the position of National Sales Manager. He went on to hold senior management roles at Zurich and HSBC Asset Management. He holds a Bachelor of Financial Administration, a Diploma of Financial Planning and a Masters of Business Administration.


Noel Woodward

Noel Woodward

Head of Property Services

Noel has had an extensive career in the property industry, including more than a decade with Mirvac Group in a range of senior roles covering property management and investment. He has also worked in property management roles for Lend Lease Investments, Kern Corporation and Growth Equities Mutual. As Head of Property Services, he is responsible for providing strategic leadership and ensuring the effective operation of Cromwell’s property portfolio.


Philip Cowling

Associate Director - Transactions

Philip is a Chartered Engineer with over 20 years experience in building design facilities and property management in Australia and the United Kingdom. Before joining Cromwell he undertook roles as a consultant working on a range of projects for clients including GIC and was the Queensland state operations and facilities manager for a national service provider. Prior to that, Philip spent nearly 10 years in senior facilities management positions with UK property group Chelsfield plc. Philip's primary responsibilities include the technical due diligence on acquisitions, the operational and cost management of all properties in the portfolio and the management of new development projects. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and is a registered Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council, a Member of the Chartered Energy Institute, a Member of the Royal Chartered Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and a Graduate Member of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers.


Nicole Riethmuller

General Counsel / Company Secretary

Nicole has 14 years experience as a corporate lawyer having worked primarily in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Cromwell, Nicole was General Counsel at the Queensland Investment Corporation where she headed the in-house legal team. Before that she was a Senior Associate in the Funds Management team at Minter Ellison lawyers in Sydney. Nicole has also been a lawyer and Assistant Company Secretary at Queensland Sugar Corporation. She has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland.


Jodie Clark

Director – Cromwell Property Services

Jodie has 15 years experience in the property industry in Queensland and NSW across the commercial, industrial and residential sectors, including a number of development projects. During this time she has held transactions, property management, business development and sales managerial positions. Jodie is the Company’s Corporate Licencee within Australia.
